Full Description
Work included under this Contract will be on the campus of Penn West University, Clarion, PA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and perform all work necessary to complete each project in accordance with all state, county and local laws and regulations and to the approval of Penn West Clarion and the State System of Higher Education. See Division 1 General Requirements & Technical Requirements Section 01010 Summary of Work for full scope of work.
a. HVAC Services work includes but is not necessarily limited to general HVAC Work, heating systems, air handling systems, heat pumps, chillers, sheet metal, and associated systems. Also includes repairs and replacement to natural gas pipe distribution systems and site restorations such as lawn repair and site cleanup, as required. Emergency repairs require a 24-hour response time
b. Plumbing Services work includes but is not necessarily limited to general plumbing, pumps, boilers, water heaters, drains, fixtures, associated systems, removal of debris and cleanup.
c. Excavation Services include but are not limited to preparing sub-grades for slabs-on-grade, walks and lawns/grasses. Excavating and backfilling for structures. Drainage course for slabs-on-grade. Sub-base course for concrete walks. Separation and Drainage Geotextiles. Excavating and backfilling for Water, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer and Steam utilities.
d. Medium Voltage Electrical Services work includes but is not necessarily limited to; medium and low voltage general electrical repairs or replacements such as main yard switchgear and building switchgear, distribution panels, transformers, interior and/or exterior lighting, equipment connections, conduit, power, and wiring and electrical testing.
e. Masonry Services work includes but is not necessarily limited to providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of concrete block work, clay brick masonry, mortar, grout, and embedded flashing.
f. General Construction work includes but is not necessarily limited to; miscellaneous general carpentry, drywall, masonry, and concrete repairs including new and/or renovations and repairs to building interiors or exteriors as well as limited site work. Includes lawn repair and site clean-up, as required. There is no pre-bid meeting for this contract.
