The Department of Veterans Affairs Rehabilitation Research and Development (RR&D) sponsored Auditory and Vestibular Dysfunction Research Enhancement Award Program (REAP) at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN intends to sole source with Dr. Ellwanger of Johnson City, TN for biostatistical consulting services at approximately 150 hours per year. The requirement includes the need for specific experience in Rehabilitative and Audiology Research; ideally, with the VA. Under FAR Part 6.302, Dr. Ellwanger is the only known local source to satisfy this current need. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 541711 with a size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competition. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any company that feels they can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer 5 days from the date of the publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
