The Naval Air Warfare Center China Lake CA intends to enter into a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Type Purchase Order using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items for counseling services on a sole source basis. The sole source is based on FAR Part 6.302-1. The current contract expires 31 Aug 09, the follow-on contract is in process. It is anticipated that the follow-on synopsis will be published in September and the solicitation available in October. This requirement is a bridge contract to continue services while the follow-on contract is being procured competitively. This requirement is sole sourced to Kevin C. Seymour DBA Center for Professional and Family Counseling; Ridgecrest CA. The counseling services will provide professional management referral counseling services for the Civilian Employee Assistance Program (CEAP) through a full scope out patient mental health facility. The services shall include referrals in general, crisis counseling/emergency referrals, workplace violence and critical incident stress debriefing. Any firms believing they can provide the counseling services may submit a written response to be received at the contracting office no later than five (5) days after the publication of this notice. It must clearly demonstrate the offerors ability to be responsive without compromising the program. Written response may be emailed to contact@example.gov.
