R--Notice of Site Visit for Tidewater

This Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract provides non-personal patient appointing services for various Medical Treatment Facilities across the United States for the Department of Army, Department of Air Force, and Department of Navy. The period of performance consists of a base year running from December 1, 2010, through November 30, 2011, with four subsequent one-year option periods. The primary objective is to augment MTF staff capabilities in booking health care appointments for Military Health System eligible beneficiaries within the direct care system. The contractor is responsible for managing outgoing calls, coordinating appointments between facilities, verifying and correcting registration information, and providing detailed performance and management reports. All activities must adhere to MHS access to care standards and utilize DoD approved appointment types and business rules. Notably, the contractor is prohibited from scheduling appointments with non-MTF civilian providers. While the contract is available to over 200 facilities on a voluntary basis, it is anticipated that approximately 18 MTFs will utilize these services.
