The 89th Contracting Squadron at Andrews Air Force Base plans to negotiate a sole source contract with Dade Behring Inc., located in Newark, Delaware, for the procurement of RxL chemistry analyzers intended for use at the Malcom Grow Medical Center. This contract will be a firm fixed price service agreement and the negotiation process will proceed without full and open competition, relying on authority granted under FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). Although this is not a request for competitive proposals, submissions received within the established timeframe will be considered to help determine whether a competitive procurement is warranted. The Government emphasizes that it will not cover any costs associated with the preparation of a request for quotation and reserves full discretion to decide against competition after evaluating responses. The intended contract award is planned to occur three business days following the notice's publication. All responsible sources may submit proposals, which will be reviewed by the agency before finalizing the award. For further information or to express interest, Lt.
