Full Description

The Lebanon VAMC requires a local vendor. A local vendor defined as one which is close enough in proximity to the Lebanon VAMC such that pickup and delivery of casework by a vendor representative can be routinely provided, personal face to face discussions can be held on occasion as needed at the VA site, or if applicable, at the contractor's place of business, allowing for ease of customization of individual cases when needed and prompt service to Veterans so as not to disrupt their job training or current employment. A local vendor will have the ability to satisfy urgent need/repair requirements in the case of broken or damaged casework for veterans allowing minial impact on quality of life. For these reasons a laboratory based locally is required. A long distance laboratory, defined as one which is located at a distance to LVMAC such that pickup and delivery of casework must be provided by means of a commercial delivery service (e.g. Federal Express, UPS, DHL) is not acceptable to meet the needs.
