AI Contract Overview
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contracting Office 2, is conducting market research under FAR Part 12 to assess the availability of teleradiology services to support multiple medical centers in New York and New Jersey. This Request for Information (RFI) is not a solicitation and does not obligate the government to award a contract; responses are voluntary and will be used solely for planning purposes. The agency seeks vendors capable of providing teleradiology services during administrative hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and during WHEN hours when VA staffing is insufficient to meet demand, aiming to prevent patient image diversion to external hospitals that compromises outcomes, safety, satisfaction, and increases costs. Respondents must be registered in SAM with a validated Unique Entity Identifier, provide full contact details, website, and clearly state their business size and type, including certifications such as 8(a), SDVOSB, VOSB, or other small business designations. Companies asserting SDVOSB or VOSB status must be certified in the SBA’s VetCert database. Respondents must document at least one year of experience providing teleradiology services under active contract with the VA or other federal entities, including contract numbers, locations, volume of cases, total award values, and contracting officer names. The agency will not consider boilerplate capability statements or marketing materials—only complete, direct answers to the specified questions submitted via email to Danelle.Wassink@va.gov by 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on June 30, 2026, will be accepted.
