Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia, PA intends to negotiate a new task order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-08-G-2112 with Northrup Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, VA 23607 to procure engineering and technical support services for the troubleshooting, repair and/or modification of hardware and software installed as part of the DDCN and ICAN systems installed on various Navy Aircraft Carriers. It is intended to negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis pursuant to 10 USC Code 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 ? Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties who contend that they are technically qualified should submit, within twenty days from publication of this announcement, specific factual data, including but not limited to technical resumes, management experience, and other pertinent information as desired to be used as an evaluatio! n basis to determine competence to successfully provide the required services. All technical proposals received within this time frame will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon technical notices received in response to this announcement. Technical responses received as a result of this announcement will normally be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1.
