Full Description

Under this procurement the Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue Sole Source Solicitation N00024-03-R-5117 to Raytheon Electronic System, 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury MA 01776 for Integration Production Support Services. Raytheon will assist the Government in ensuring that AEGIS Weapon System design standards and combat system integration criteria for AEGIS change proposals, manufacturing and quality performance requirements, technical engineering support, technical/field engineering support, common equipment baselines, vendor flowdown and AWS parts control and standardization are fully evaluated in the context of AWS/ACS production communities and dealt with consistetly among all AWS/ACS equipment manufactures. Raytheon will also assist the Government in engineering support services for the Theater Ballastic Missile Defense (TBMD) Program. Raytheon is the Original Equip ment Manufacturer and existing sole source for many of the AWS components as well as the only source with the requistie design, development, production and integration expertise required to perform the subject services.
