R--Intent to Sole Source

The Government plans to negotiate directly with SRBI, located in Silver Spring, MD, to conduct an assessment focused on healthcare professionals' perceptions concerning factors that influence their decisions to seek employment with the VA. This effort follows a previous study that evaluated the training of healthcare professionals. The negotiation is authorized under FAR 6.302, and this notice represents an intent to sole source rather than a call for competitive proposals. The Government retains discretion to decide whether to proceed with a non-competitive procurement based on the information received in response to this notice. The contract will have a duration of one year from the date of award, with Phyllis Jackson serving as the point of contact for any inquiries regarding the procurement.
