The MICC White Sands intends to increase the value of contract W9124Q-07-C-0504 by $85 million to ensure sufficient funding to complete the current option period and provide adequate time to finalize the follow-on procurement, which is being announced under solicitation W9124Q-11-R-0101. This adjustment is necessitated by organizational changes and consolidations within the ATEC, which have caused delays in the recompete process. These changes aim to evaluate cost efficiencies by integrating the Operational Testing Command requirements for the Network Integration Evaluation at White Sands Missile Range. The contract relates to mission support services under NAICS code 541330 and is managed by the Department of Defense office at MICC White Sands, New Mexico. Inquiries regarding this contract adjustment must be directed to Maxine Via by August 4, 2011. This funding increase allows ongoing operational needs to be met while the government assesses streamlined approaches for future contracting activities.
