The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) has a requirement for Acquisition and Program Management, Configuration and Data Management, Engineering, Logistics, Technical, and Third Party Sales support services for the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Program Office. This requirement is currently being provided by Sentek Global under contract N00178-05-D-4556-NS03, which is anticipated to expire 14 August 2015. The follow-on contract to N00178-05-D-4556-NS03 will be awarded under full- and-open competition within the Seaport system under Request for Proposal N00024-15-R-3167. In order to ensure that mission requirements will be met while the Government continues to evaluate and award the follow-on Seaport Task Order, the Government intends to award a sole source contract to Sentek Global under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) for a period of six months and an estimated amount of $3.9M, but will allow for limited flexibility depending on the actual date of award of the competitive follow-on Seaport Task Order.
