The Naval Air Systems Command requires program management support services for the PMA 201 Precision Strike Weapons Program, covering both domestic initiatives and Foreign Military Sales. These services are currently provided by National Systems Management Corporation (NSM) under a Federal Supply Schedule order expiring on December 31, 2004. As the existing contract's expiration precedes the planned competition of these services under the Program Management Multiple Award Contract (PM MAC) in Spring 2005, an interim six-month extension from January 1 to June 30, 2005, is being considered to ensure uninterrupted program support. The extension will be negotiated as a sole source award with NSM, justified on grounds of economy, efficiency, and a logical contract follow-on in accordance with applicable federal acquisition regulations. While this notice does not solicit competitive proposals, interested parties may express interest and submit technical information and capability statements. Submissions must include complete contact information and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be eligible. The government reserves the right to proceed without competition based on responses received. Contract management and inquiries are handled by designated contract specialists at the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division, with clear procedural guidelines for submission and contact deadlines outlined.
