The United States Mint initiated a competitive sourcing study on March 10, 2004, focused on evaluating the Office of Human Resources services as part of a formal process guided by OMB Circular A-76 standards. A draft Performance Work Statement was issued on March 26, 2004, planning to review and potentially restructure these human resource functions. However, the study received official cancellation approval in accordance with specific OMB Circular provisions. Instead of continuing with the competitive sourcing study, the human resource functions are being transitioned to the Bureau of Public Debt’s Administrative Resource Center located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This contract action, referenced by solicitation number USM-04-025 and posted on April 10, 2005, relates to the administrative decision and reorganization rather than the execution of a new procurement. The relevant North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561330, indicating services related to professional and administrative management consulting. For further information or inquiries, the designated point of contact is Renea C. Morton, reachable via email or phone. The contract documentation can be accessed online for more detailed review if needed.
