Full Description

The Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, 2215 Fuller Rd, Ann Arbor, MI, 48105 intends to solicit from only one source, the University of Michigan Cabinetry Shop, to establish a contract for fabrication of custom desks for a research project. The basis for this proposed sole source procurement is that the University of Michigan is the incumbent manufacturer of custom desks used in an earlier research project with which data from the current project must be correlated and this is only possible if the same process is utilized in the manufacture of the additional custom desks needed. Additionally, the University is the source of the finished desk design. This is not a request for quotes however; all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Comments regarding this proposed procurement may be directed to Contracting Officer Gregory Stevens at contact@example.gov no later than May 11, 2015 at 4 pm EDT.
