Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION. The White Sands Directorate of Contracting intends to extend Contract W9124Q-05-C-0557 with Computer Science Corporation (CSC), 400 S. Memorial Parkway, Huntsville AL 35815-1520, while the assign ed contracting office prepares and issues a competitive solicitation for the services. As the current contractor, CSC is the only responsible contrator that we are aware of that has the experience and the trained staffing already in place to be able to pe rform the services during this extension. This is a notice of intent to modify the existing contract in accordance with FAR 5.201(b)(1)(ii) and not a request for proposal. The follow-on award is anticipated in the next one to three months.
