The City of Rancho Cordova received a Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant to deliver this work. Currently, design standards, policies, and guidance live in more than a dozen documents such as standard drawings, City code, General Plan policies, County standards, and regional standards and manuals. The Guide will serve as a one-stop reference guide and the City's foundational document for implementing Complete Streets. It will attempt to balance the access and mobility needs of everyone who uses and travels in the right-of-way: people walking, biking, driving, riding transit, or moving goods/freight, ensuring that every roadway project supports a safe, multi-modal, climate resilient Rancho Cordova.
