The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) requires accurate and up-to-date scientific evidence to inform public health decision-making and actions that promote health; prevent and control infectious diseases, chronic diseases and injuries for people living in Canada; and prepare for and respond to public health emergencies. PHAC requires access to a Contractor who can provide a range of rapid, high-quality, fit-for-purpose, and contextualized evidence synthesis products on an as-and-when-needed basis to supplement existing capacity. These products will be used to build knowledge and inform decision-making at PHAC, as well as contribute to knowledge that will have value to provinces, territories and Indigenous peoples within Canada, as well as the international public health community.
