To support the development of post-thinning and post-fertilization growth curve multipliers and disturbance matrices, the following objectives will be pursued:
• Identify Canadian studies that have assessed the impacts of forest thinning and fertilization treatments relevant to growth response, GHG emissions and carbon sequestration.
• Conduct a literature review of Canadian studies that have assessed the impacts of various forest thinning treatments on the growth response of trees in the residual stand.
• Conduct a literature review of Canadian studies that have assessed the impacts of various forest fertilization treatments on the growth response of trees in the residual stand, on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and on carbon sequestration in biomass and soils.
• Collate the key publications, data, and data documentation (i.e., data dictionaries, metadata) associated with the studies included in the literature reviews.
