COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors (Tailored for quotes under FAR part 13), evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR provisions and clauses are attached. The solicitation number is HSCG35-17-Q-WNMC4 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-79. This acquisition is issued as set-aside 100% SMALL BUSINESS. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effective of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word. The associated NAICS Code is 327320 and the small business size standard is $15 million. USCG Base Ketchikan intends to purchase the following: Six (6) Sack concrete Ready mix, delivered via concrete truck on a call-in basis in intermittent deliveries of at least 2 yards but not more than 10 yards per delivery. Deliveries will be weekdays Monday thru Friday between the hours of 0800-1500 for a period of service to include 01 JULY, 2017 through 01 SEPT , 2018. Expect to require no more that 250 total yards and no less than 240 total yards. Deliveries will be from 0800- to 1500 for the period of contract duration. Deliveries per month dependent on weather and workload at IPF Base Ketchikan. Monthly payments for goods received will be made in arrears based on invoices with delivery tickets verified by IPF Ketchikan Shop Supervisor. Deliveries to be requested with no less than 48 hours notice from USCG Base Ketchikan. All quotes should include the freight costs credit card processing fees and any additional fees required. Payment will be processed in arrears monthly utilizing the government wide commercial purchase card. All quotes are due at USCG Base Ketchikan, AK by the close of business 24 JUNE 2017.
