Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather comprehensive data regarding existing workforce education, training, and apprenticeship programs that prepare individuals for careers supporting data centers and related infrastructure projects . This RFI is for information gathering and strategic planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal procurement or solicitation for services. Objective: The Borderplex region is seeing rapid growth in AI infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, utilities, and telecommunications. The goal of this RFI is to: Identify existing regional resources and training capabilities. Understand the current workforce training landscape. Identify programs that can support future demand for skilled occupations in the construction and long-term operation of data centers. Target Respondents: WSB invites responses from education providers, training organizations, registered apprenticeship programs, labor organizations, employers, industry associations, and other workforce development partners.
