RECOAT WATER SOFTNER TANK #3- MCJ-JOB WALK AMD#02

The Los Angeles County Department of Internal Services is soliciting bids for the repair and recoating of a 1600-gallon water softener tank located at the Men Central Jail Boiler Plant. The scope of work includes draining the tank, removing old resin and aggregates, stripping deteriorated linings, descaling, and applying a Hebco ceramic lining or equivalent. Following the recoating, the contractor must refill the tank with specified resin and filter media, perform leak testing, and conduct backwashing and regeneration cycles to ensure water softness. All work must be performed Monday through Friday between 6 AM and 5 PM and is expected to be completed within six to eight weeks of the award.
