Full Description
The USDA Forest Service has a requirement on the Allegheny National Forest for the reconstruction of Forest Road 212 and 486 is located within Zone 2, Marienville Ranger District. This project consists of completing road maintenance and reconstruction items. To include, brushing, removal and installation of new and existing drainage culverts, reconditioning the roadway template and reconstructing all drainage features including ditch lines, culvert inlets/outlets, tail ditches and lead outs, placing and compacting road base and surface aggregates, and seeding and mulching all disturbed areas. All work performed will be completed in accordance with the Standard Specification for Roads and Bridge on Federal Highway Projects FP-14 and the Forest Service Supplemental Specifications to FP-14 included as part of this contract.
