Full Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, Nashville District, Contracting Division, intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) for Other than Full and Open Competition. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute, the Government intends to award an 8(a) direct award contract with Sherrick Construction, 307 Emery Drive, Nashville, TN, 37214-3113. The contractor shall provide a design and construct exhibits for topics including: The contractor shall provide a design and construct exhibits for topics including: 1. Wildlife and Natural Resource Management including mounts (exhibits) of native animals and fish from the area. 2. Pelts of native animals in display and storage container for interpretive programs. 3. History of the Corps of Engineers and Cordell Hull Lake. 4. Topographic Map depicting the lake and surrounding area. 5. Portable exhibit board with graphics detailing Cordell Hull Lake and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. 6. Touch screen Monitor with interactive information concerning Recreation, Hydropower, Navigation, Cordell Hull History and Corps of Engineers History. 7. Panel /Display case depicting Careers with the Corps of Engineers 8. Glass display case for Bald Eagle (Eagle mount to be furnished by Cordell Hull Project) 9. Two sided free standing Brochure Rack 10. Panel with exhibit case, detailing information concerning Native Americans including artifacts 11. Spotting Telescope 60 mm or larger located near window for wildlife viewing 12.
