RECOVERY--56--PROJECT NUMBER 322832, MARK TWAIN LAKE VISITOR CENTER LIFT STATION RELOCATION AT NEW VISITORS CENTER AT MARK TWAIN LAKE

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking firms to install government furnished 10 horsepower pumps, wet well, valve vault, and control panel for relocating a duplex sanitary lift station at the new Visitors Center at Mark Twain Lake. The government has acquired the pumps and associated equipment, wet well, rails and valve vault and they will be provided for installation. In addition the contractor will be required to install pressure sewers and connect gravity and pressure sewer lines to the wet well and to the existing pressure lines. Contractor will be required to provide properly sized pressure lines for the connections. Electrical work in connecting the pumps and control equipment and to the government provided power source is also required. Existing utility lines will need to be located and worked around without being damaged or relocated. Temporary bypass pumping may be required keep the sewer in service. The contractor will be required to demobilize the existing lift station and fill the wet well and valve box. Turf restoration is also required. This is a Firm Fixed Price Service Contract. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and price. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237990. The SBA size standard is $33.5 Million. This acquisition is Small Business Set-A-Side. Postal service copies are required. Electronic copies are not permitted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package.
