The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) issued a pre-award notice regarding an extension of a task assignment under an existing contract with Project Performance Corporation (PPC), located in McLean, VA. This task order, initially awarded through the Federal Supply Schedule 70 under Task Order Number DE-AT01-05EW07028, involves providing systems support specifically related to the implementation of a unified electronic document and records management system (EDMS/ERMS) linked to Recovery Act activities funded by DOE-EM. The extension covers an additional 30 days at no extra cost and follows the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009’s transparency and accountability requirements. The original funding for the period from September 25, 2009, to March 31, 2010, was $110,564. This modification allows PPC to complete its efforts delivering commercial software and professional services necessary to design, configure, and implement the EDMS/ERMS. The contracting office overseeing this task is located at 1000 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC, with the primary points of contact being Lawrence M. Butler and Irie W. Clarke, serving as the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer respectively. This extension ensures continuity in the support necessary to effectively manage environmental management documents and records associated with Recovery Act initiatives under the DOE-EM program.
