RECOVERY-- Maintenance Dredging Delaware River Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Trenton, New Jersey

Contract consists of maintenance dredging within the project channel at various locations: from Station 87+895 to Station 122+300 to a required depth of 41 feet MLLW plus 1 foot allowable over depth limited by a vertical plane through the required depth contour, with required dredging limits extended 25 feet outside both channel edges (box cut); between Station 122+778 to Station 124+677 and Station 141+800 to Station 144+675 to a required depth of 22 feet MLLW plus 1 foot allowable overdepth, with dredging limits extended 25 feet outside both channel edges (box cut); and Fairless Turning Basin (Station 0+000 to Station 0+800) to a depth of 37 feet MLLW plus 1 foot allowable overdepth, with no side slopes delineated and/or paid for along the basin's east/west berthing lane edges and the west channel edge of Newbold Range (box cut). Dredging will also be required to a distance of 25 feet outside the three remaining edges of the turning basin, with no side slopes delineated and/or paid for; Hopper or bucket dredging shall not be permitted under this contract; The Government-furnished disposal areas available for use under this contract are Area No. 26 (Money Island) and Area No. 28 (Biles Island). Solicitation Number W912BU-09-B-0012 will be issued on or about 02 July 2009 with a bid opening date of 04 August 2009. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 (SIC 1629) with a size standard of $33.5 million.
