This contract opportunity pertains exclusively to contractors currently engaged under the CMS MQ Task Order (contract # HHSM-500-2007-00010I Task Order 0003), originally awarded through competitive bidding in 2007. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) plans to award a Firm Fixed Price modification to this existing task order to expand 24/7 support services focused on implementing the HITECH Act. The additional support will require continuous contractor effort to address rapid development needs that are not covered by existing CMS alert monitoring. Key responsibilities include creating scripts and programming for alert notifications, managing shift work and scheduled coverage, and providing immediate on-call response to issues such as object creation, environmental troubleshooting, software updates, and patching. The rapid development support requires contractor personnel to be available around the clock, responding to support requests initiated via phone within one hour and maintaining efforts until resolution of the development problem. This modification is to be performed in Baltimore, Maryland, under NAICS code 541513, which covers computerized systems design services. Points of contact for this opportunity include Corey R. Lloyd and Lyandra Emmanuel at CMS, who can provide further details regarding contract terms or execution.
