Recovery--Project Number FTQW061004P2-Repair Waste Water Treatment Plant PH2 (B2316)This is phase II of a project to repair sewage treatment plant. The main aspects of this work includes the following: Fill cracks, and repair spalls in concrete sides and bottoms of three primary clarifier tanks and coat the inside surfaces of the clarifier tanks with polyurethane. Replace all guard rails around the clarifiers and the telescoping valve pits, replace the sludge collection systems in each clarifier and replace the primary sludge transfer pumps. Replace the air compressors serving the pre-aeration chambe. Provide automated controls and monitoring for the primary treatment process. Repaint the interior of the Primary Treatment Room, and reroute the scum collection piping to discharge at the plant head works bar screen. Clean sludge piping under the clarifiers and provide additional cleanouts. Abate lead-based paint as necessary to complete the other work of the project. This contract was awarded as a sole source action under the 8(a) program of the Small Business Administration in accordance with FAR 19.8.
