Full Description

ARRA - Project Plan will describe the collection of sediment samples for the purpose characterizing the dredged material in the Federal navigation channel at Harbor Beach, MI. Samples will be collected from 11 stations within the harbor. The sample depths range from 2-6 feet, so a combination of gravity core samples and/or vibracore sampling may be required. Analysis has been included for 15 samples, to allow for splits of samples based on field determinations where more than one strata is found during the sampling event. The sample locations with the deeper shoaling are identified on the sampling map as split samples A and B. NOTE: THIS PROCUREMENT WAS SET-ASIDE FOR THE 8(A) PROGRAM.
