The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District awarded a contract to Nehalem River Dredging, Inc. for maintenance dredging services at the Garibaldi and Depoe Bay Boat Basins in Lincoln and Tillamook Counties, Oregon. Originally, the contract estimated the removal of 15,000 cubic yards of material from the Garibaldi Boat Basin. However, the actual dredged quantity was slightly less at 13,604 cubic yards, leading to a reduction in the overall contract price from $375,500.00 to $372,289.20. This modification reflects a precise adjustment in pricing based on the actual dredging quantities performed, ensuring contract costs align with work completed. The contract falls under NAICS code 237990 and is managed by the Portland office of the Department of Defense. The opportunity and modification pertain solely to contractors linked to the original solicitation W9127N09C00210001 and focus on essential environmental maintenance work supporting navigability in key Oregon boat basins.
