RECOVERY - "In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009, Pub.L. 111-5, the Government posts this presolicitation notice of intent to issue a task order under an established Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with the Prime Contractors presently assigned to the Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) which is operated by HQ AETC CONS LGCT office, c/o HQ AFCESA CONS CEKC at Tyndall AFB, FL. This notice is provided for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This project calls for a survey all the traps in the steam system for Areas A and C and replace failed units at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The central heat plant facility 1240 provides High Temperature Hot Water (HTHW) for the majority of Areas A and C. It operates from 15 Oct - 15 Apr and is the heat source for several steam converter plants. These converter sub-plants are located in facilities 271, 170 and 169 and utilize the HTHW to generate high pressure steam. as stated in the presolicitation title. The Government intends to issue a task order to one of the Prime Contractors under the SATOC IDIQ.
