Notice of Intent to Sole Source Recurring 2-way HD Broadcast Circuits and Transmission Services This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award a Sole Source Contract for the services of The Switch Enterprises on behalf of the Department of State, Bureau of Global Public Affairs, Office of Video, Broadcast Division to perform transmission, reception and switching services. This contract will be under NAICS code 517919 to The Switch Enterprises. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Switch is the only source that can satisfy the requirement for satellite and fiber services with direct access to their global network and the only source that can support the Bureau's needs for HD broadcast satellite and fiber access to facilitate coverage of Department and other USG officials.. For this requirement, the Switch Enterprises is considered the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
