REDSoX Front and rear spider rough machining.

This procurement is for the rough machining of front and rear spider components for NASA’s REDSoX project, specifically requiring the processing of two front (RDSX-102-001) and two rear (RDSX-154) units from customer-supplied 17-4 PH stainless steel in H1150 heat-treated condition. The work must be completed within 35 business days of award to meet critical launch timelines, with all deliverables conforming to dimensional specifications in provided CAD drawings in STEP format, which require access via Box.com and verification of U.S. person status. Machining must achieve a surface roughness of no more than 125 µin (3.2 µm Ra), include stress relief per SAE AMS2759/11, and result in parts that are bagged, tagged, and ready for customer finishing, with accompanying formal dimensional inspection reports and certifications for ITAR/EAR compliance, finishing, and conformance. EDM operations are explicitly excluded from the scope.
