--Regional Anesthesia Training Simulator

The Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1 each Peripheral Nerve Block Regional Anesthesia Training Simulator Brachial Plexas, Model System 1000; 1 e ach Peripheral Nerve Block Regional Anesthesia Training Simulator Lower Extremity Model 1000, including annual service package and future system upgrades. This requirement is sole sourced to Medical Technology Systems given that it is the only company curr ently producing an interactive regional anesthesia training device, IAW FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Any firms believing that they can provide the system and annual upgrades may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 3 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firms ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of t he system and data without causing any financial hardship. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. This notice is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
