The contract pertains to the procurement of two relays identified by NSN 5945-00-506-2315, with a delivery requirement of 20 days after delivery order issuance. The solicitation number is SPE7M5-26-T-326V, issued by the Department of Defense’s Active Devices Division under NAICS code 335314, with responses due by July 27, 2026. Technical and quality requirements are governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with the applicable revision determined by the solicitation issue date for simplified acquisitions or the RFP issue date for larger procurements, unless an amendment supersedes it. The item must not contain mercury or mercury-containing compounds unless explicitly exempted for functional components such as batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or navy-specified chemical reagents. Portable fluorescent lamps and instruments containing mercury must be shockproof with a secondary containment boundary as mandated by NAVSEA 5100-003D. The use of any class I ozone-depleting substances in design, manufacturing, or testing is strictly prohibited unless the contracting officer grants separate written approval, though this restriction does not apply to commercial items as defined in FAR 11.001 or to part-numbered-only items. All supplies must comply with government specifications for removal of identification when rejected. The point of contact for inquiries is Jeanette Heisey, with the place of performance listed as FPO, zip 96663.
