AI Contract Overview
This contract pertains to the procurement of an electromagnetic relay identified by part number MS24171-D1 and NSN 5945-00-660-9315, with a total quantity of 77 units at a unit price of $77.00, resulting in a total price of $5,929.00. Delivery is required within 50 days from the contract award, FOB origin, with no variance allowed in quantity. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination. The item must comply with stringent technical and quality mandates referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, including strict prohibitions against intentional use of mercury or mercury-containing compounds unless part of exempted functional components such as batteries, fluorescent lamps, sensors, or weapon systems, with additional containment requirements for portable devices as per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Use of Class I ozone-depleting substances is banned in all manufacturing and processing stages unless explicitly approved in writing by the Contracting Officer, and this restriction overrides any conflicting specification requirements, though product performance remains unaffected. The relay must conform to MIL-PRF-6106R(1) Supplement 1A and MS24171J specifications, and its components must be sourced exclusively from manufacturers listed on the applicable Qualified Products or Manufacturers Lists. Packaging must strictly adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA packaging requirements, with marking following MIL-STD-129 and the special code ZZ for unique contractual obligations. Lead finish compliance is mandatory per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609, requiring specific markings on each unit package detailing lead content. All units must be palletized as specified and shipped to DLA Distribution Warner Robins, Robins AFB, GA, with an original delivery deadline of May 14, 2026, and a need-by date of April 17, 2026. Transportation and shipping are governed by DLAD procedural notes C19 and C20, and the acquisition falls under NAICS code 335314, administered by the Department of Defense’s Active Devices Division.
