The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking bids fromqualified vendors to remove lead contaminated soil adjacent to the dirt berm at theabandoned shooting range at the former Nassau County Jail/Detention Center atthe County’s old sheriff’s office and jail site located at Bobby Moore Circle, Yulee,FL 32097. The limits of excavation are depicted in the Proposed Boring LocationMap, attached hereto as Attachment “I”.The services shall be performed on property owned by or under the jurisdiction ofNassau County in accordance with the solicitation specifications. The servicesshall be performed on property owned by or under the jurisdiction of NassauCounty in accordance with the solicitation specifications.The work is to be performed by a building or general contractor, licensed, insured,and bonded to do business in the State of Florida. Vendor shall be familiar withand shall comply with County and State Ordinances governing demolition workand traffic control regulations during work. Vendor shall furnish all labor, materials,and equipment necessary to perform the work described herein in strictaccordance with these specifications.
