Removal of Personal Identifiable Information (PII)

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO T3 MEDIA TO PROVIDE REMOVAL OF PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII) FROM DOD IMAGERY STORED IN THE T3 MEDIA LIBRARY MANAGER The Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Media Activity (DMA) intends to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority of FAR FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization)'. Sole Source Justification is attached hereto. DMA intends to issue a sole source contract to T3Media Inc., 1530 16th St Ste 600, Denver, CO, 80202-1447 to provide removal of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from DoD Imagery Stored in the T3 Media Library Manager. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a Base + 1 Option Year. Period of performance for the base year will be: 15 Sep 2015-14 Sep 2016. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 519120- Libraries and Archives, and the small business size standard is $15,000,000.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
