NOTICE DATE: JANUARY 9, 2014 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS: 336611 - SHIP BUILDING AND REPAIRING Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) is soliciting a requirement to perform the rip-out of the existing reverse osmosis plants and install new reverse osmosis units aboard the NOAA Ship Oregon II, Pascagoula, MS. Provide all labor, material and equipment in accordance with the attached Statements of Work. This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, which has a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. Solicitation number EA-133M-14-RQ-0105 will be issued January 9th, 2014 and will close January 24, 2014. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is March 31, 2014 through April 18, 2014 for the removal and install of the reverse osmosis systems.
