Joliet Job Corps-Request for Quote Parking Lot and Road Repairs
Solicitation # joliet-job-corps-request-quote-parking-lot-road-repairs
Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a subcontractor for road and parking lot repairs at the Joliet Job Corps Center in Illinois. This fixed-price, single lump sum opportunity has an estimated value between $100,000 and $250,000. The scope of work includes the full-depth removal and replacement of approximately 62,500 square feet of asphalt across five specific areas, the repair of five storm sewer drain structures, and the patching of five potholes. The selected contractor must complete all work within 90 consecutive business days following a written Notice to Proceed. Bids will be evaluated based on overall best value, and submission requires a physical site visit, a signed MTC Bid for Lump Sum Contract form, and a detailed cost breakout on company letterhead. Because the project exceeds $25,000, bidders must provide a bid bond equal to 20% of the base bid, and the awarded contractor must provide performance and payment bonds from a surety with at least an A- rating. The project is subject to Construction Wage Rate Requirements, necessitating weekly certified payroll reports and adherence to prevailing wage determinations. Additional requirements include a minimum insurance coverage of $1 million for general liability and auto, and $500,000 for workers compensation. Contractors must submit a complete MTC Supplier Packet, including a W-9 and self-certification. Failure to complete work by the agreed date will result in liquidated damages of $1,000 per consecutive calendar day. Final payment is contingent upon a successful final inspection and the release of a 10% retainage held until substantial completion.

Environmental Trust Department, Owhi Flats 2026
Solicitation # Owhi-Flats-RFB-2026.pdf
The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation Environmental Trust Department is soliciting bids for the Owhi Flats 2026 project, a firm fixed price construction contract focused on watershed restoration within the Little Nespelem WMU. The primary objectives are to improve water quality, enhance riparian habitats, promote natural water flow, and reduce the impact of open-road density on wildlife. The scope of work requires the contractor to decommission six road segments totaling 3.29 miles, install two tank traps, and transport all removed non-natural materials, such as culverts and fencing, to a COR-approved disposal facility. All activities must adhere to specific Colville Indian Reservation Tribal Law and Order Codes regarding cultural resources, forest practices, water quality, hydraulic practices, fire management, and industrial safety, as well as 43 CFR 10.4 for inadvertent discoveries. This is an Indian Preference set-aside under the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO), requiring a minimum of 51 percent of seasonal or project-based employees to be of Indian preference origin. Award will be granted to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder who demonstrates technical experience in stream crossings, road cross drainage, and bank stabilization. Bidders must submit a comprehensive packet by October 29, 2026, including a signed bid sheet for the entire project, a detailed work plan with equipment and schedules, TERO certification, a debarment form, and proof of liability insurance of at least 1,000,000 dollars.
