REPAIR FIRE SUPPRESSION

The 104th Fighter Wing, Barnes ANGB, Massachusetts intends to issue an Request for Quote, W912SV-T-17-2012, to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to complete the following project; Repair Fire Suppression. This project is at Barnes Air National Guard Base, 175 Falcon Drive, Westfield, Massachusetts. REPAIR FIRE SUPPRESSION: Building 27: Repair, replace and reprogram monitor modules and heat detectors as needed. Install an air gap on a backflow preventer, rebuild a fire pump, repair tamper switches, replace butterfly valve, repipe auxiliary drain cups, install a ball drip assembly on a fire department connection, perform a 5 year internal obstruction pipe inspection on the sprinkler riser. Building 23: Repair or replace wiring on modules on the fire pump, rebuild the fire pump, replace the tank float valve, replace the tamper switches on the foam isolation OS&Y, replace a swing check and flange, service and inspect the fire pump controllers, replace gauges, install a relief valve, and perform a 5 year internal obstruction pipe inspection on the sprinkler riser. The contract duration is 100 days after NTP. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238220, with a size standard of $15,000,000.00. The magnitude is between $50,000 and $100,000. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (c) (1) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or about 02 August 2017. The tentative date for the site visit is on-or about 09 August 2017, 1:30AM local time, location will be in solicitation.
