Repair/Maintenance (R/M), and Training for LVD/Strippit Cutting Laser Machine

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Strippit, Inc. 12975 Clarence Center Rd. Akron, NY 14001 in support of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW). The proposed contract action is for the repair of Optical Path LVD Laser C4000-Model E Pema# 65888038380. This includes training in basic machine operations for maintenance evolutions, SOD calibration, and evaluation of cut and alignment. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
