It is structured as a Firm-Fixed Price agreement spanning five years with five annual ordering periods, each authorizing the repair of 100 units, plus a six-month optional extension for an additional 50 units, totaling 550 repairs over the life of the contract. All repair work is performed under a single pricing structure with no adjustments allowed, ensuring predictable costs for the government. The base period initiates with 100 units, and each subsequent ordering period follows the same volume unless altered by option exercise. All necessary parts and materials for the repairs are provided in the base period, with a one-time allocation of 500 units, and no additional procurement authorization is included for any subsequent ordering periods or the optional extension. The contract also requires the submission of one Board Evaluation Report and one Non-Fit For Use report per ordering period, including the extension, for documentation and quality assurance purposes. The total estimated value of the contract, inclusive of labor, reporting, and materials, is determined by the sum of all repair, report, and initial material costs. The solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense through the Air Force Sustainment Center at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, with Trinity Choo as the primary point of contact. Responses are due by May 14, 2026, and no set-aside provisions apply, making the contract open to all eligible vendors.
