RRM 3.12.2025 - Customer needs to prioritize on their IPL. Beyond scope of our crane crew and above GPC limits. After Crane inspection, during weight test, #2 crane air hoist motor (Model BAW2-21RT14D2, Speed, fpm, Hoist 14, Air consumption at rated speed, CFM 110), was not smooth operation and could not operate and rated capacity. It was determined by the Crane Inspector that the hoist motor needed to be replaced/overhauled. Crane Works submitted a quote for service/repair of the hoist and the amount exceeded the purchase card threshold, which is now making this a contract action.
