The Kansas Army National Guard intends to Award Modula Incorporated a contract for maintenance and repair services of two (2) Modula Vertical Lift System (VLS) to be performed at Army Aviation Support Facilities (AASF) 1&2. The objective is for the performance of diagnosis and repair services necessary to ensure restored full operational capability.
This is a sources sought announcement issued in accordance with FAR 10 and DFARS 206.302-1(d). This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). There is no bid package, solicitation, specifications or drawings available with this announcement. It DOES NOT constitute a commitment by the U.S. Government or the State of Kansas. Response is strictly voluntary, and no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests. The Government SHALL NOT be liable, or suffer any consequential damages, for any improperly identified information. This is a market survey and notification of intent only. This requirement may be solicited at a future date.
The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, including Large Business and the Small Business Community, to compete and perform Firm Fixed Price Contracts. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis.

Requirement Description:
The Kansas Army National Guard requires maintenance and repair of two (2) Modula Vertical Lift System (VLS) to restore full operational functionality. This includes repair, or replacement of external and internal control panels, processors, sensors, wiring, and any other associated electronic and mechanical (ie. Motors, belt / gear drives, etc.) components as required to restore normal operation. Completing system reprograming and calibration may be required to ensure the system operates in accordance with manufacturer specifications and is fully integrated with any existing facility networks or control systems.

- Contracted individual assigned to repair the VLS as part of this requirement shall be trained, certified, and possess the necessary credentials/access/diagnostic keys in order to fully accomplish the required repairs.

- Contractor is able to provide to industry standard essential parts for immediate onsite repair.
