This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No contract will be awarded from this announcement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

1. Project Description
The 47th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to identify qualified and responsible Small Business concerns capable of executing a commercial construction project to repair and upgrade the HVAC system for Area A of Building 320 (B320), a 107,068 square foot facility at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas.
The anticipated scope of work is detailed in the project's Statement of Work (SOW) and Issued for Construction (IFC) design documents (which will be provided with a formal solicitation). The project will focus on Area A, which is comprised of Air Handler Units (AHU) AHU-2 and AHU-6, and their respective ducting systems, Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes, and supporting systems. The existing building utilizes Siemens and Johnson Controls Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all materials, labor, tools, and equipment for the demolition, removal, disposal, installation, and commissioning of the new HVAC system components as specified in the design.
