This notice is posted in accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.2 and FAR 36.213-2 This acquisition is set-aside for Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) vendors The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220; size standard $15,000,000 In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System For Award Management (SAM), contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov Solicitation Number: FA3016-16-N-0061 Replace Chillers IMCOM Central Plant Building 2265 Project Number: JBSF160009 The contractor shall provide all engineering, drafting, plant, supervision, labor, material, equipment, incidentals, and transportation necessary to perform a 100% design and construction of a new central chiller plant at building 2265. The location of the work will be on Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) -Fort Sam Houston Texas. The 502d Contracting Squadron, JBSA-Fort Sam Houston TX intends to award a contract with a 191 calendar day period of performance. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings is expected to be available on the World Wide Web on or about 1 Jun 2016, http://www.fbo.gov. The tentative date for receipt of proposals is 1 Jul 2016. The period of performance is 191 calendar days. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Copies of the solicitation can be downloaded at http://www.fbo.gov. There is no fee for this solicitation. A registration page will be attached to the website. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notification of any amendments and /or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the website for any changes to the solicitation. You shall provide a signed copy of the Standard Form 1442 and acknowledge and/or sign all amendments at the time and place specified on the solicitation for receipt of proposals. There will not be a public opening. Sealed envelopes containing proposals shall be marked to show the offeror's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total amount. However, contractors shall only be responsible for providing the base amount. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are made available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any cost.
