Replacement Fencing @ Segnette - Recreation

The Jefferson Parish Government is soliciting bids for the removal and replacement of outfield fence panels at Segnette Field, located at 2000 Segnette Blvd., Westwego, LA. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remove three damaged corrugated metal panels and install three new 12-foot high by 38-inch wide dark green corrugated metal R-panels of A19 gauge. The project requires the reuse of all existing posts and rails, and the contractor is responsible for hauling away all debris and maintaining a clean job site daily. All work must be performed during normal building hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm and must be scheduled with the owner representative five days in advance. The successful bidder must obtain all necessary permits from the Jefferson Parish Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement and is expected to substantially complete the project within 30 days of receiving a written Notice to Proceed. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders are required to perform their own site inspections and measurements to determine the necessary quantity of materials. A critical requirement for responsiveness is compliance with standard insurance regulations, including Worker's Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Business Automobile Liability. The apparent low bidder must provide final insurance certificates within ten calendar days of the bid opening or risk rejection. All insurance must conform to Jefferson Parish Resolution No. 136353 or No. 141125, and contractors may not commence work until all evidentiary insurance requirements are met.
