Presolicitation Notice The following work will be performed at the Senator Paul Simon Federal Building, 250 West Cherry Street, Carbondale, IL 62901. The project includes, but is not limited to the following work: Replace existing water cooled chillers and associated cooling tower, pumps, piping, controls, motor control center, etc. as indicated in the drawings and specified herein. Minor site regrading, concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, and metal fencing will be included in the project. The estimated price range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238220 with a size standard of $19 million. This is a negotiated procurement, therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about January 23, 2024. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as SAM.gov. System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) database is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in SAM.gov is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in this system will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award. Any questions regarding this notification should be directed to the Contract Specialist whose name appears herein. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be on or about February 22, 2024 at 3:00pm (CST).
